MAD Mode: It's Glamageddon!


When Calypso activates Glamageddon, she enters a dazzling, high-energy state that amplifies her trickster nature and abilities to devastating levels. Her abilities gain enhanced effects, her evasion and critical hit rate increase, and she becomes a chaotic force of stylish destruction.


MAD Mode Activation

  1. Prerequisites:

    • MAD Meter Requirement: At least 50MAD are required to activate It's Glamageddon!.

    • Main Map Objective Dependency: MAD Mode can only be activated after the main map objective (e.g., switches, resource points) is completed.

  2. Activation Behavior:

    • MAD Point Freezing: Upon activation, 50MAD is frozen for the duration of MAD Mode.

    • The frozen points are unlocked after the mode ends and immediately deducted from the player’s meter.

    • If the player only has 50MAD at activation, they will effectively have 0 usable MAD.

  3. Duration:

    • It's Glamageddon! lasts for 3 turns.

    • During these turns, MAD Meter depletion beyond 50 points is paused, and the player cannot enter the vulnerable state.

Abilities

During MAD mode, abilities remain unchanged unless otherwise specified.

  1. Glam Mirror:

    • Effect: The ability's range becomes infinite and Calypso's focused beam pierces both enemies and destructible obstacles.

  2. Charm Dust:

    • Effect: Due to prolonged exposure to MAD Juice, Charm Dust now becomes unstable. Each cast now also inflicts -5MAD damage.

  3. Tangle trap:

    • Effects:

      • Calypso can now pick up previously placed traps and reposition them on the battlefield.

      • Traps are now visible on the map and act as indestructible obstacles.

  4. Razor Braids:

    • Effects:

      • The ability gains a knock-back effect, pushing enemies back by 2 tiles.

      • Each successful hit resets the ability's spin counter for up to 3 times.


Additional Effects

Razzle-Dazzle: All MAD draining effects, be it when using abilities or taking damage are now reduced by +5MAD.
